Our inspectors are certified to CWB Standard W178.2 Level 2 and Level 3 AND AWS QC1 Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI)
We can provide full time welding quality control or scheduled random site visits to evaluate weld quality at various stages of construction. Our quality control service to you will consist of confirming that all welders hold valid tickets, assuring the proper weld consumables are used, that welding electrodes are stored as per code, that there is no damage to structural members through handling and transport, proper torque values at bolted connections are met, weld details as stated in structural drawings are duplicated in the field, completed welds are the required size and length, and that welds conform to CSA Standard W59 or the applicable code of construction. We are also Certified to perform Magnetic Particle Testing (MT). As well, we can do Ultrasonic Testing on full penetration welds and moment connections.
